Our Homes
Hurricane Melissa devastated Jamaica, leaving a trail of destruction across the island. Powerful winds and torrential rains damaged thousands of homes, forcing families to seek shelter in overcrowded emergency centers. Hospitals and schools suffered severe structural damage, disrupting essential services and displacing communities. Roads, bridges, and other critical infrastructure were destroyed, cutting off access to many rural areas and making rescue efforts difficult. In the aftermath, the government and international aid organizations have begun mobilizing resources to provide relief and begin the long process of rebuilding the nation.
